Very cute basement level coffee shop. One of the only options in old port at 8 am (Starbucks doesn’t count). Recently opened about 2 months ago and the staff seems to be happy and enjoying the art of making quality coffee. Not a push a button and walk away coffee maker but true fresh ground and hand tamped espresso.
my boyfriend and I were in Portland to help a friend move into their new house and decided to get coffee before we got into any heavy moving! I saw this place on tiktok and decided this would be the perfect place to try! I got the coastal cookie iced latte with almond milk and would rate it a solid 8/10. It had a bit of a bitter taste, but once I stirred it enough it was really good! I’d definitely drink it again. My boyfriend got the iced mudslide with oat milk and it was AMAZING. It definitely gave me fomo that I didn’t order it! The sip I had was a 10/10. He also got the egg and cheese bagel and said it was really good. I’m gluten free so unfortunately there was nothing I could eat here. They didn’t have any gluten free options (but if they read this review, I hope they add more in the future!) There’s no parking unless you park in the lots around Portland and walk - so keep that in mind. There’s also no handicap entrance or accessibility. This cafe is in a basement and there’s a steap decline down steps. However, if you find yourself in Portland, It’s definitely worth the trip.
Walked in and immediately loved it. This place is so cute and the staff members are awesome, they’ll be seeing a lot of me! I tried the Old Port breakfast sandwich and the raspberry truffle latte and both were so good! The barista seemed super happy to be there and so was I!
I loved Buzz coffee! So many fun flavor options and the staff is so kind. I went at the holidays and got a nice Wintery drink and now I’ve been back through the spring and gotten so many great iced coffees. Definitely recommend!
Stopped in for a coffee this morning (Sun. June 22), and while the drinks were absolutely amazing, we couldn’t stop talking about how awesome the service was. It was a group of three (?) ladies working and they made our visit so sweet and memorable. Would come back for the blueberry matcha lemonade, but absolutely for another fun chat with the staff! Thanks for making our trip to Portland so special
Buzz Coffee might as well be renamed to Best Coffee! The food is delicious, the staff is very kind and personable...and don’t get me started on the cinnamon bun iced lattes. My whole paycheck will be going to this place! Too good not to checkout as a local or even a tourist. highly suggest 10/10
I visited this great coffee shop today and my barista. Sage was friendly. My coffee was delicious and she really made it such a nice experience. I will definitely be back.!! Sage is an asset to this coffee shop!!
We are so glad we came across this little gem while visiting Portland for the week! We found them on our second day here and then continued to go every morning until we headed back home! We had the Golden Orchard Latte (x3), Maple Harvest Latte (x2), and the Chai Latte. Every time the drinks were amazing, along with wonderful service! Kylie was always a joy to see (and hear her singing) and talk with every visit! We will miss our favorite Portland coffee shop, but will be back when we visit Portland again!
